We are currently looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team.
Mission :
The Accounting Manager will be accountable for the performance and results of an accounting department/area. Responsibilities include managing accounting policies and controls, fiscal controls, preparing financial reports, and safeguarding the organization's assets. The role involves maintaining accounting and financial records, managing general ledger, financial statements, regulatory and management reports, and overseeing daily accounting activities to ensure accuracy and compliance. Additionally, the manager will handle collection and credit management, support internal and external audits, implement system and process improvements, and collaborate with other departments for financial planning and analysis. The role requires ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, resolving outstanding issues, and leading process standardization and control enhancements.
Essential duties and responsibilities :
* Manage a team of accounting professionals and oversee daily operations.
* Ensure accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports.
* Analyze financial data to provide decision-making insights.
* Oversee reconciliation and maintenance of general ledger accounts.
* Manage collections and credit processes.
* Support audit processes and implement system improvements.
* Monitor transactions and ensure proper documentation.
* Guide and train team members.
* Collaborate with departments for financial planning and analysis.
* Ensure timely recording and reporting of financial information (P&L, B/S, Cash flow).
* Coordinate tax, legal, and statutory issues with business units.
* Work with senior management to meet reporting deadlines.
* Provide accounting expertise and act as a business partner.
* Coach staff to improve understanding of accounting and risk management.
