We're looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to help scale and improve quality across high-impact media / streaming platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building automation frameworks from scratch, improving QA processes, and working closely with engineering teams in fast-paced environments.
What you'll do
* Design, build, and maintain robust test automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
* Drive QA strategy and best practices across teams
* Own and improve test coverage for web and API layers
* Work closely with engineering and product to ensure high-quality releases
* Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing
* Contribute to documentation and QA processes
* Mentor other QA engineers and promote a quality-first mindset
* Test and validate media / streaming workflows (e.G., playback, ads, content delivery, user flows)
What we're looking for
* 5+ years of experience in QA Automation / SDET roles
* Strong experience with:
* Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar
* API testing (REST, authentication, etc.)
* CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
* Experience building automation frameworks from scratch
* Solid understanding of test architecture and best practices
* Experience working in monorepo environments is a plus
* Strong communication and ownership mindset
Nice to have
* Experience in media / streaming platforms (highly preferred)
* OTT, video-on-demand, live streaming, or ad-supported platforms
* Experience testing:
* Video playback (HLS, DASH)
* DRM-protected content
* Ad insertion (client-side or server-side)
* Experience with Connected TV (CTV), Smart TVs, or mobile streaming apps
* Exposure to performance or load testing in media environments
