Network Security Engineer – Airbus Helicopters Information Management – Albacete, Spain
Responsibilities
Manage and support all subsidiaries worldwide from a Network Security perspective.
Configure and maintain security devices such as Firewalls, Proxies, WAN Accelerators, VPN, SASE, & ZTNA.
Handle Networking and IP Management using tools like IPAM, monitoring systems, and CMDB.
Diagnose and remediate infrastructure, networking, and security issues in a time‑critical environment.
Plan for future growth and capacity needs.
Automate security configuration and management using Ansible and Git.
Document technical designs, implementations, processes, and tooling.
Support other applications or projects as required.
Qualifications
3‑5 years of experience as a Network Security Engineer operating enterprise‑level networking and security equipment.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, electronics, or communication engineering.
Experience in network security (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Stormshield, Proxies, Cisco ASA firewalls) – mandatory.
Experience designing and building complex data center networks with SDN solutions such as Cisco ACI or Cisco SDA – appreciated.
Knowledge of DevOps & CI/CD tools (Git, Ansible, Terraform) and APIs (REST, SOAP).
Programming & scripting skills (Python, YAML, JSON).
Understanding of IT services (Active Directory, SCCM, IAM) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V).
Familiarity with monitoring & logging tools and underlying principles.
Knowledge of cybersecurity challenges and basic threat protection methods.
Experience with configuration management, orchestration, and automation.

Must obtain national/military clearance (NATO, Secret / Très Secret).
Travel may be required to subsidiaries worldwide and to Marignane (South East France).
