**Missions of the job**
- Responsible for the project management process of the Alcalá and Barbastro plants, leading CAPEX and OPEX projects and coordinating project priorities among project stakeholders.
- Ensuring the success of each assigned project by achieving the objectives defined in the initial phase of each project/investment and by fulfilling all tasks defined in the project life cycle.
- Back up and provide support to the initiatives/other technical areas of the plants such as maintenance, reliability, change management, industrial safety, etc.
- Create, maintain and improve the technical work processes related to projects under development or in operation.
- Ensure that the safety regulations are complied with in the projects.

- Ensure compliance with the general objectives of the projects/investments
- Ensure better performance of the plants and more efficient processes by seeking opportunities for improvement
- Carry out the technical analysis of bids
- Coordinate, together with the Project Engineer, the execution of the work with the different departments of the plant and external companies
- Monitor the execution of the work
- Manage contractors to ensure quality work on projects
- Be the point of contact for plants for technical issues
- Be responsible for ensuring that safety regulations are complied with in projects
- Review and update department standards
- Formulate instructions/tasks for the successful definition and implementation of the projects they lead
- Request the purchase of materials for the execution of projects
- Sign work permits
- Request the services of engineers, architects, environmental consultants and others
- Contact with external service companies - automation, electrical installation, bagging lines, etc.
- Request for changes in automation and SCADA systems
- Request for changes to improve the plant
**Qualifications** Requirements for the job**
- Degree in engineering
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial environments managing medium/large projects
- Computer skills:
- Intermediate level Office: Word, Excel, PP, Outlook
- SAP
- Knowledge and experience in industrial process automation
- Knowledge of industrial regulations: ISO, UNE, CEL, REBT, RAP, APQ, CTE
- General knowledge of mechanics, piping, electricity, instrumentation, equipment
- Knowledge of mechanics
- Basic knowledge of electricity and instrumentation
- Identification of typical equipment in chemical industrial processes
- Language knowledge**:English is a must / French is desirable
- Knowledge of Quality, Safety, Environment and Hygiene and Food Safety regulations
- Knowledge of the Tools used in Operational Excellence
- Follow-up of knowledge which is developed in the Annual Training Plan
