Design, implement, and evaluate training programs aimed at different groups within the university community (students, faculty, researchers) to enhance their informational skills.
Mission
* Design and develop information literacy programs tailored to various levels and disciplines, including face-to-face sessions, self-learning materials, workshops, and online courses.
* Deliver training and personalized advice on the use of bibliographic resources, databases, reference managers, and search strategies.
* Collaborate with faculty and academic departments to integrate information skills training into curricula.
* Continuously evaluate the impact of training activities through surveys, results analysis, and ongoing improvement.
* Create digital content and thematic guides (tutorials, videos, LibGuides, etc.) to support training and self-learning.
* Participate in teaching innovation projects or library service improvements related to training.
* Assist and guide users at the service desk or through virtual channels as part of the library team.
RequirementsAcademic background
* Bachelor's or master's degree in Library and Information Science, Documentation, Pedagogy, or related fields.
* Postgraduate training in information skills, university teaching, active learning methodologies, or learning technologies is valued.
Languages
* Advanced level of English (C1 or higher).
Professional experience
* Proven experience in user training within university or research libraries.
* Experience in teaching in educational settings or adult training is valued.
Key competencies
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
* Pedagogical ability and creativity in developing training materials.
