Description
Job Summary:
The Mobile Wallet team within the Operations Department sets wallet strategy and priorities,
drives thought leadership and leads the delivery of wallet payout partnerships.
As Business Manager – Mobile Wallets, you will play a critical role in scaling our wallet
business across Ria's integral remittance network. This includes delivering wallet-related projects
that support the launch of new payout corridors, expand existing partnerships, and introduce
new, exciting cross-border use cases for our customers — all with a strong focus on driving
transaction growth and market penetration.
You will serve as a central coordination point between internal stakeholders (Network, Product,
Compliance, Engineering, Treasury) and external partners (wallet providers, aggregators, and
payment processors), ensuring initiatives are executed efficiently, on time, and in alignment with
our commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the launch playbook for direct wallet corridors – from commercial discussions and
go-live readiness to post-launch optimization.
- Lead cross-functional coordination between Product, Compliance, Engineering, Treasury,
Legal, and external wallet partners to deliver high-impact projects that drive business
growth.
- Maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and action trackers to monitor progress and
resolve blockers — able to present updates confidently to internal and external
stakeholders.
- Work closely with regional teams to ensure wallet payout flows are operationally sound,
scalable, and performance driven.
- Track key performance metrics (e.g., transaction success rates, turnaround times,
cancellation rates, corridor volumes) and lead continuous improvement efforts through
reporting, insights, and BI dashboards — with a focus on scaling transaction volumes and
improving customer outcomes.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of project or operations management experience, ideally in fintech, cross - border payments, or mobile money.
- Strong understanding of digital wallet ecosystems in both developed and emerging
markets, with a commercial mindset and growth orientation.
- Proven track record of delivering partner onboarding and projects in an international
setting — with measurable business impact.
- Familiarity with remittance operations, including FX, settlement, KYC, compliance, and
reconciliation.
- Strong data literacy and ability to interpret key business performance indicators to
support growth decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to align cross - functional teams toward commercial outcomes.
- Highly organized, with excellent communication skills and proficiency in project and
reporting tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Asana, Excel dashboards, and PowerPoint)
