Focus on the employee lifecycle : recruitment, talent management, culture, payroll, and legal / labour regulations, among others. Ensure the correct use of HR systems.

ISP School Head of HR Key Responsibilities
Recruitment
* Create and update job descriptions aligned with school needs and safeguarding policies.
* Use Jobvite and posting platforms to identify and filter suitable candidates.
* Coordinate with school leaders to organize interviews and optimize recruitment processes.
* Communicate with candidates throughout the process to maintain school reputation.
* Ensure compliance with Safe Recruitment policies and promote them among leaders.
* Align compensation packages with approved budgets and contract types with job roles.
* Support foreign candidates with visas, accommodation, and airport pickups.
* Promote ISP and the school as an Employer of Choice.
Onboarding
* Provide onboarding presentations to clarify expectations, benefits, and address inquiries.
* Ensure new hires have the necessary tools for their roles.
* Facilitate leaders in setting goals and explaining expectations.
* Follow up to promote performance and clarity.
* Maintain open communication to support transitions.
Talent Management
* Oversee goal setting and reviews in Cezanne, encouraging coaching and mentoring.
* Identify and support employee strengths and development needs.
* Promote evaluation and internal growth opportunities.
* Foster a feedback culture for continuous improvement.
* Assist in resolving personnel conflicts.
* Support CPD initiatives to enhance team knowledge and learning experiences.
HR Systems
* Ensure proper and updated use of ATS and HR systems, leading by example.
* Maintain accurate system data including salaries and emergency contacts.
* Follow HR processes for onboarding, appraisals, absences, and leavers.
Payroll and Compensation
* Ensure timely and accurate employee payments, including deductions and additions.
* Explain payslips and compensation concepts to employees upon request.
* Keep compensation data current in HR systems.
Culture
* Promote a happy, safe work environment aligned with ISP and school philosophy.
* Respond to Staff NPS and survey results with action plans.
* Support cultural initiatives and activities.
* Maintain an open and supportive culture where staff feel comfortable approaching HR.
Labour Relations and Legal Compliance
* Follow established dismissal procedures fairly and humanely.
* Support legal dismissals and ensure compliance with labour laws and policies.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
* Minimum 2 years in a generalist HR role.
* Fluent in English and local language; bilingual proficiency preferred.
* Proficient in computer use and HR IT systems.
* Knowledge of local labour legislation.
* Strong networking skills within the school community.
* Negotiation, conflict management, empathy, and customer service skills.
* Effective time management and multitasking abilities.
* Leadership qualities for influencing and effective communication.
