The challenge: The R&D laboratory is seeking a highly motivated analyst with a proven track record in analytical development. This role provides analytical/technical support for the R&D projects pipeline, focusing on the polymeric division and reverse engineering activities in different R&D projects (Q1/Q2/Q3). Major responsibilities include sample preparation and analysis for several analytical techniques, including GC, HPLC, UPLC-MS; GC-MS and GPC analyses, among others.
Responsibilities
* Industry/academic laboratory experience with hands-on use of analytical methods (TGA; DSC; GPC; Rheometer; GC-MS; HPLC-MS; ICP-OES highly recommended).
* Review and interpretation of analytical results generated.
* Strong problem-solver who is highly organized with the ability to thrive and lead in an environment with rapidly changing priorities. Manage priorities assigned.
Requirements and personal skills
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in sciences (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or related). CV with a Vocational upper secondary education will be considered.
* Languages: High level of Spanish and medium/high level of English.
* Experience (years/area): Previous experience as an analyst, scientist, or technician in an analytical environment (Pharma industry or any other analytical laboratory) is highly recommended.
* Specific Knowledge: GMP regulations.
* Travels: Not required.
* Personal skills: Good analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to design experiments and interpret data independently. Experience working in a GMP environment.
* The analyst will have a flexible shift (08:00–09:45 to 16:30–18:15); shifts may be required.
