Virtuoso is the leading global travel agency network specializing in luxury and experiential travel, comprising over 1,200 locations with more than 20,000 travel advisors across 54 countries.
Our Account Manager, Hotels & Resorts, plays a crucial role in working with our Preferred Partners to identify and engage potential new partners, ensuring the successful execution of regional sales strategies and contributing to Virtuoso's global business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with global and regional Preferred Partners to achieve shared strategic goals.
* Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including revenue performance goals, marketing sales, and event attendance, while maintaining robust Partner Briefs for each regional account.
* Communicate proactively with Global Virtuoso colleagues to share partner feedback and intelligence, improving current programs and strengthening partner relevancy.
* Participate in company initiatives and committees as assigned by the Account Director.
* Work with partners to implement action plans that drive growth and engagement with Virtuoso, measuring and achieving global and regional KPIs.
* Engage partners in market events, conduct competitor analysis, and report relevant information to the Account Director.
* Manage critical partner matters, represent Virtuoso at industry trade shows, conferences, and meetings, and solicit new supplier partners based on program needs.
* Create content and conduct monthly regional market update meetings for partners.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Business, Travel & Tourism, or Marketing.
* 4-6 years related work experience, including prior strategic account management experience.
* Innovation, commercial acumen, CRM proficiency, marketplace awareness, analytical skills, collaboration, presentation skills, and results-oriented approach.
Travel Requirements
* Travel is required more than 20% of the time to visit partners and attend events, conferences, and team meetings.
