Job Title: Mechanical Site Engineer (MSE)

Project Overview:
We are supporting a major hospital development in Africa. The project includes complex hospital systems and specialised medical facilities requiring high-quality engineering and fit-out coordination.
Role Overview:
The Mechanical Site Engineer (MSE) will oversee the installation and coordination of mechanical systems on site, ensuring all work is delivered in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and hospital standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and monitor mechanical installation works, including HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas systems
* Review and coordinate mechanical shop drawings and design documentation
* Ensure compliance with hospital engineering standards and specifications
* Coordinate with electrical, architectural, and infrastructure teams
* Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control of mechanical works
* Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems
* Prepare technical reports and track site progress
* Ensure adherence to health and safety standards
Requirements & Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
* 8–10 years of experience in construction projects
* Mandatory experience in a hospital or healthcare project
* Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas systems
* Experience in fit-out design coordination
* Ability to coordinate with contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams
Salary & Benefits:
USD 6,000 – 6,500 per month (net salary) + Accommodation, Transportation and Food
