JOB SUMMARY
The Estimator is responsible for accurately estimating the cost, time, materials, labor, and equipment required for a construction project from conceptual design to GMP. Additionally, this position involves analyzing project documents, coordinating information flow with subcontractors and suppliers, evaluating quantity and cost data, and preparing deliverables for hard-bid and negotiated work. The Estimator maintains relationships with Clients, Architects, Consultants, Subcontractors, and Suppliers. The Senior Estimator provides leadership, training, mentoring, and supervisory review of estimating products, processes, and deliverables, and performs all Estimator duties.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
* Authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
* At least four (4) years of commercial construction estimating experience.
* Knowledge of commercial site construction, foundation, structural systems, miscellaneous metals, casework, doors, specialties, interior finishes, exterior wall systems, mechanical and electrical systems, and their costs.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word), MS Outlook, Sage, AutoCAD, and estimating software.
* Strong computer and typing skills, with advanced Excel skills and bid management experience.
* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise judgment.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to read and organize construction plans and specifications.
* Availability to attend client meetings and travel as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Preferably 10+ years of preconstruction/estimating and/or operational experience on commercial projects.
* USGBC LEED accreditation.
* Professional Estimator Certification preferred.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Prepare bid-chase briefs, attend meetings, and perform job site visits.
* Review documents to identify risks and perform constructability reviews.
* Manage subcontractor prequalification and create project schedules.
* Perform quantity surveys, prepare detailed estimates, and manage bid processes.
* Coordinate bid solicitations, prepare bid forms, and communicate with vendors and subcontractors.
* Assist in site logistics, risk mitigation, and scope development.
* Present estimates to clients and oversee handoff to operations.
* Ensure safety and perform other duties as assigned.
