PAs the Destination Manager you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our offerings by contracting land services, including hotels, tourist attractions, guides, coaches, restaurants, and more. This position gives you full ownership of the commercial relationships with our partners, ensuring that Europe Incoming delivers the most competitive and appealing options for our clients. You’ll have the opportunity to showcase your expertise and creativity, driving excellence and innovation in our destination services. /ppbr/ppstrongKey responsibilities /strong /pulliSecure exclusive and competitive rates and conditions with service providers through negotiations and management of supplier relations. /liliBe the expert in your assigned region, having in-depth knowledge and understanding of your destination /liliEnsure efficient and effective communication with sales leaders and management worldwide /liliProvide regular feedback and promote any new ideas, opportunities and identify potential issues /liliAnalyse and evaluate data and provide recommendations to stakeholders based on the market evaluations /liliPromote the destination to all stakeholders /liliEnsure sales and operational teams are well informed of any events, incidents, which may prevent the smooth running of their tours /liliOwn the destination products and review the quotes in order to ensure correct and clear itineraries are built. Suggest alternatives whenever necessary /liliMaster the usage of internal tools: processes and procedures, database, markets requirements /liliEnsure contracting deadlines are reached according to business requirements /liliUndertake, as requested, other tasks or projects and complete within the given time frame /liliAssist other Data teams ‘members as and when workload dictates /liliLeading training and coaching initiatives as required and supporting with ad-hoc projects /liliRepresent the company at Trade Shows and other events as required, travel is a must. /li /ulpbr/ppstrongKey Stakeholders: /strong /pulliServices partners: hotels, coach companies, guides, tourist attractions, restaurants, etc /liliC-Suite (Board of Directors) /liliInternal client: Sales and Operations Team, Finance Team /li /ulpbr/ppstrongKey qualifications traits /strong /pulliExceptional negotiation skills with the ability to interact and influence at all levels of an organization including local partners /liliExperience/working knowledge of contracting land services in the Travel/Hospitality industry /liliStrong commercial skills with a working knowledge of group and FIT handling /liliDriven to succeed with a professional ‘can do’ attitude and work ethic.
