**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**
As a **Third Party Funds **Operational Due Diligence Analyst **you will have to perform operational due diligence reviews on prospective and existing Mutual Funds, ETFs and alternative investment opportunities.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
- Perform operational due diligence reviews on prospective and existing Mutual Funds, ETFs and alternative investment opportunities (Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure).
- Review of investment manager and fund documentation (including constitutional documents and key agreements).
- Assess fund structure, governance arrangements, counterparty risk, accounting and valuation processes, compliance, risk oversight, cash controls and business continuity planning to evaluate the overall quality of fund systems, controls, infrastructure and personnel in order to identify issues relevant to the overall investment decision. - Onsite meetings with key staff at the investment management firm, generally including the COO, CRO, CCO and supporting staff.
- Completion of thorough risk due diligence reports on fund managers on a timely basis. Findings from the review will be formally documented and then presented to the risk committee alongside a recommendation to approve or reject the investment opportunity. In addition to the formal due diligence reviews, advice and guidance will be provided to the investment team with respect to operational risk at underlying managers.
- Perform monitoring of investment managers and raise alerts if needed.
- Provide oversight reporting for all assigned funds to senior management teams highlighting areas of concern. - Escalation of issues to Head of Investment Risk and other senior management.
- Relationship with key staff, fund sales people from international investment management firms, ODD stakeholders, SAM Investment Due Diligence team and Private Banking Analysts among others.
EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in working in the funds industry (3-5 years).
- Strong understanding of the trade flow of the operations in an Investment Management Firm.
- Knowledge of operational best practice in the funds industry.
- Knowledge of UCITS regulatory environment.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar.
- Master´s degree is a plus.
