Tasks
H&F Task Details
1.Site Access and Security
~ Register entry, comply with local protocols, note escort requirements.
2.Location Documentation
~ Capture GPS coordinates, photograph main demarcation point, record comms room location.
3.Cable Route Measurement
~ Measure distance between demarcation point and comms room.
4.Network Rack Assessment
~ Record rack details (ID, height, occupied/free U, device types), check stability, capture photos. xsgfvud
5.Floor Space and Power Readiness
~ Measure floor area, verify power feeds, UPS, cooling, grounding
6.Network Device Inventory
~ Record WAN/LAN devices, ports, interfaces, patch panels
7.Compliance and Operational Checks
~ Note change freeze dates, compliance standards, access control, delivery capabilities, language preferences, risks.
