Overview
The GEO Analyst plays a key role in shaping visibility and discoverability in an AI‑first search landscape.
This position bridges search strategy, content, and emerging generative technologies to ensure sustained digital presence. The role focuses on anticipating change and translating evolving search behaviors into actionable optimization strategies.
Responsibilities
* Act as a subject‑matter expert on generative and AI‑driven search trends, informing strategy and decision‑making.
* Proactively identify shifts in visibility and recommend innovative approaches to maintain competitive advantage.
* Partner closely with content, technical, and digital teams to embed GEO best practices into execution.
* Monitor and adapt to changes in AI‑powered search ecosystems.
* Optimize content for generative and conversational search models.
* Provide guidance on technical and semantic optimization.
* Analyse performance shifts and identify new visibility opportunities.
* Ensure we remain competitive as search algorithms and user behaviours evolve.
Requirements
* Deep knowledge of how autonomous agents “see” a website. Expertise in optimizing the Accessibility Object Model (AOM) and DOM structure so agents can execute actions with 100% accuracy.
* Experience using the WebMCP API to register client‑side tools, allowing agents to bypass brittle scraping and interact with the site’s core logic.
* Proven ability to optimize for RAG (Retrieval‑Augmented Generation) with understanding of embeddings, vector search, and context windows.
* Mastery of Nested Entity Schema to build a machine‑readable knowledge graph, and management of AI‑specific user agents (OAI‑SearchBot, etc.) to optimize AI crawl budget.
* Strong business‑technical translation skills with experience liaising across business, operational, and IT teams; quickly learn new tools including AI and automation solutions.
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced, global environment, with strong time‑management, independent problem‑solving, attention to detail, and fluent English communication.
* Bachelor’s degree relevant to the role, ideally with pharma experience or prior roles in digital marketing/SEM/SM within service delivery settings; able to work hybrid from Sant Cugat and travel occasionally.
* Proficiency in Python (for data/RAG automation) or JavaScript/Node.js (for building Agent‑side tools and MCP integrations).
* Solid foundation in traditional technical SEO (rendering, headers, site speed).
* Hands‑on ability to build and deploy MCP servers.
