As a Systems Engineer in Indra Space, you will contribute to the conception, specification, and design of next-generation GNSS and RF-enabled satellite systems. You will work with MBSE methods, manage system requirements, and produce clear technical documentation within a multidisciplinary team. This role supports ESA ECSS-aligned programs and helps scale Europe’s space autonomy through end-to-end system thinking. You will engage with cross-functional teams to shape high-impact space missions and ground-segment operations.

• Apply systems engineering methodologies through conception, specification and design phases
• Manage and maintain system requirements using DOORS or similar
• Track system and engineering workflows with JIRA
• Analyze GNSS concepts, signals, performance, and RF interference geolocation
• Perform RF/link-budget and baseband subsystem evaluation
• Oversee instrumentation management workflows
• Use MBSE tools (Capella, Enterprise Architect) for architectural modeling
• Produce high-quality technical documentation across complex systems
• Ensure compliance with ESA ECSS or related standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams with strong communication and coordination
Responsabilidades
• Experience in systems engineering best practices in early lifecycle phases
• Proficiency with requirements management tools (DOORS Advanced)
• Experience using JIRA for tracking
• Strong understanding of GNSS concepts, signals, performance, and RF interference detection/geolocation (4–5 years)
• Solid knowledge of radiofrequency engineering xpzdshu including link budgets and RF/baseband subsystems
• Experience with instrumentation management
• Experience with MBSE tools (Capella, Enterprise Architect)
• Ability to understand and document complex technical systems
• Familiarity with ESA ECSS standards or similar
• Strong communication and team-management skills
• High level of English (verbal and written)
