A combined general reach and presence in 40 countries with 280 electric vehicles on the road that have clocked over 26 million miles and counting.At Switch we are committed to creating an environment in which all colleagues can fulfil their potential and by being a diverse and inclusive company, we are proud to be a Disability Confident - Committed company and users of the disability confident scheme, if you would like further information or details of the role in an accessible format, please let us know.**Job Purpose**:- Provide support to the quality function in delivery of the departmental policy deployment objectives.- Support the development of the Hoshin planning approach, subsequently facilitating and executing the process.**Opportunity**:- Lead quality & business improvement projects cascaded from functional business planning & goal deployment- Lead training sessions to deploy quality tool deployment across the business.- Track, manage and report the status of departmental improvement activities, providing coaching and support as required to ensure effective & timely delivery- Deploy visual management techniques in the communication of improvement- Develop a structure that ensures that the weekly and monthly quality reports are updated in line with the executive meeting cadence.- Work with the CQO and Head of Quality Excellence to develop internal quality reporting metrics, that track the department’s ability to deliver the business objectives.- Support the Principal Quality Engineer Programmes in tracking the delivery of the quality metrics to support the new model delivery (Off Tool, Off Process, Capacity Analysis, Part Dimensional Status, Quality Standards, PPAP).- During the programme builds ensure that the weekly PST / Launch presentations are updated with the latest quality status and available to support the meeting cadence.- Support the Quality Programme and Forward Model Quality teams to track the quality of build, ensure that we understand the concerns raised on us and ensure that there is a regular meeting cadence to track the progression of the concerns, generating the necessary report outs.- Be able to support the QMS & Certification team in the auditing of Quality and other functions as is required.**Experience/Qualifications**:- Engineering HNC, degree or 5 years’ experience in quality engineering / quality management- Internal Auditor qualified- Experience within an automotive company- Lean 6S Black Belt / Continuous Improvement Leadership
