Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling guest calls, requests, and problems in a professional and courteous manner.
Main Responsibilities
* Contact Guests: Respond to guest calls, requests, and problems in a timely and professional manner.
* Sales Techniques: Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott.
* Promotions: Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally.
* Reservations: Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
* Marriott Rewards: Process requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points and enter information into appropriate software when taking guest reservations.
Support Functions
* General Office Duties: Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing, including filing, sending emails, typing, and faxing.
* Training and Motivation: Assist management in training and motivating employees; serve as a role model.
Requirements
* Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience required.
