Offer Description
The contract is concluded for the performance of the following tasks in the project ‘Public Health and Precision Preventive Medicine combining physical examination, lifestyle and genomic information: monitoring the obesity pandemic through extension of the IMPaCT Cohort (Obes-IMPaCT)’ with file number PMP22/00003:
* Handling and processing of biological samples
* Application of questionnaires to participants
* Carrying out the complementary tests included in the study protocol
* Collection and tabulation of data from questionnaires and complementary tests.
* Support for the logistical coordination of the project and management of the laboratory.
* Willingness to acquire the necessary skills to perform the study activities, with the techniques and measurements of the cohort including the handling of laboratory samples.

Skills/Qualifications
* Higher Technician in Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory or equivalent (Level 1 Higher Technician (Equivalent to Higher Technician of Vocational Training) according to the Spanish Framework of Qualifications for Higher Education (MECES).
Specific Requirements
* Time of experience as a laboratory technician with handling and processing of biological samples (up to 15 points).
* Previous experience in research projects, in which you have carried out field work, questionnaires, interviews, handling and processing of biological samples (up to 15 points).
* Specialised courses in sample handling and processing (up to 10 points).
* Experience and skills in face-to-face and/or telephone clinical interviews (up to 10 points).
Languages SPANISH Level Excellent

Additional Information
Cost of the contract 26.000 €/year for a full-time contract, which is equivalent to a gross monthly salary of 1.586,61 €, to be paid in 12 instalments.
Eligibility criteria
* Merit assesment stage: rerits related to the post. (Up to a maximum of 60 points)
* Aptitude assessment and interview phase. (Up to a maximum of 40 points)
In any case, a minimum score of 40 points must be obtained in all of the above phases in order to be eligible for the position advertised.
Selection process
Applications that meet the requirements and are within the call deadline will be examined by an Evaluation Commission composed of three members (a President and two members).
The CV will be assessed together with the above-mentioned merits.
Short-listed candidates will be called for a personal interview.
