HR Technician at Chemence Graphics | HR Specialist | Psychologist
Chemence Graphics Spain has over 35 years of experience in the graphic arts industry, offering solutions for flexible and corrugated cardboard packaging. We work with key sectors such as food, pet food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and agriculture, among others. As part of a globally present group, we provide a comprehensive service that includes everything from prepress to the delivery of plates and dies to printers or packaging manufacturers, ensuring maximum quality, precision, and efficiency in every project.
We are looking for an IT & Systems Technician with strong development and integration expertise to support and enhance our business and production systems within the graphic arts industry.
This role focuses on supporting our ERP and prepress systems to ensure seamless workflows and efficient data integration across departments. The ideal candidate is a hands‐on, detail‐oriented problem solver who combines technical knowledge with an understanding of graphic production workflows. They will work closely with internal experts to implement digital solutions and support transitions to new ERP systems.
This position can be based in AMPOSTA (Tarragona) or SANT JOAN DESPÍ (Barcelona) .
Key Responsibilities
Support in the development, customization, migration and integration of the company's systems, including:
Production ERP: FileMaker
Prepress software: Esko or Hybrid
Accounting ERP: A3, Sage, Odoo, or Holded
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, especially production and prepress teams, to analyze workflows and translate operational needs into efficient digital processes.
Design and implement system interfaces, automation, and integrations to improve information flow between departments.
Oversee system updates, migrations, and integrations ensuring minimal disruption to production.
Produce clear technical and user documentation and provide training and support to system users.
Manage relationships with software vendors and consultants, ensuring solutions meet both technical and business requirements.
Contribute to IT strategy, system architecture, and digital transformation initiatives aligned with company goals.
Required qualifications
5–10 years of experience in IT systems management, ERP development, or software integration, ideally in the graphic arts, printing, or manufacturing industries.
Proven experience with (including implementation, customization, integration, and migration):
FileMaker
Esko or Hybrid prepress systems
Accounting/ERP systems: A3, Sage, Odoo, or Holded
ERP transition or migration projects (planning, data transfer, testing, and go‐live)
Fluent English and willingness to travel to Chemence Graphics locations.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of systems administration at server and desktop level (Windows, Vmware, Apple)
Networking and infrastructure management (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, wireless)
Cybersecurity principles and best practices
Data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
Understanding of industrial/manufacturing workflows, with the ability to align ERP systems to support production efficiency or translate operational needs into system requirements.
Hands‐on experience planning and executing business system/ERP changes, including module customization, testing, training, and go‐live support.
Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools for data visualization and reporting.
Leadership & Management Skills
Strong strategic planning, vendor management, and budget control for IT operations and projects.
Experience in strategic IT planning and aligning technology initiatives with business goals.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management – able to translate complex technical issues into clear business terms.
Skilled in problem‐solving, change management, and risk mitigation.
Solid understanding of systems, networks, and data modelling to support informed decision‐making.
