OpsTech Solutions manages all IT infrastructure and end-user equipment across Amazon's global network. Our team provides comprehensive solutions including lifecycle management, change control, demand planning, material management, RMA, and liquidation. Our initiatives support the physical fulfillment of customer orders, managing new site launches worldwide that directly impact shipping to millions of Amazon.com customers.
We are seeking an operations engineer capable of collaborating across various teams to improve processes. The role involves designing factory layouts, workstations, and material flow, diagnosing processes, identifying improvements, and guiding implementation efforts.
This position may require travel up to 20%.
Key job responsibilities
* Analyze and optimize warehouse processes for efficiency.
* Collaborate with supply chain teams to develop process improvements.
* Apply lean principles, Six Sigma, and other tools to enhance operations and reduce costs.
* Conduct studies and analyses to identify bottlenecks.
* Create SOPs for consistent operations.
* Review material handling equipment and layouts using CAD software.
* Perform ergonomic assessments.
* Assist with ERP system validation and process design.
* Manage process improvement projects from start to finish.
* Develop project plans, monitor progress, and mitigate risks.
* Establish KPIs to measure efficiency and effectiveness.
* Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.
