Mission
To define and own the global product strategy and value propositions for the whole product category (lighting), ensuring alignment with company growth objectives and market demands.
Will drive product development, manage the product portfolio, and foster innovation and operational excellence to achieve profitable revenue and market share growth while developing a sustainable competitive advantage (marketing, product development...).
Responsibilities
Define and own the global product strategy for the lighting category.
Build and consistently develop a thorough understanding of the market (consumer, customer, channels, competition) through interaction with regional teams, market research and ad-hoc field visits.
Prioritize product features, improvements, and innovations based on customer feedback, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape.
Develop and maintain 3 year category roadmap & research pipeline, integrating input from key stakeholders.
Lead the development of New Product Development (NPD).
Support global launch plans.
Cross-functional collaboration with regional marketing teams, Global Engineering Teams, Sales Teams, Supply Chain.
Foster a customer-first and global mindset, ensuring product decisions are driven by regional customer needs and market relevance.
Required Profile
Education: Preferably, MBA or a master’s degree in Engineering, Business or a technology related field.
At least 8 years' product management, product marketing or application engineering with at least half in the lighting, LED or related industry.
Experience working in an international and multicultural environment
Strategic Marketing expertise (B2B).
English full proficiency is mandatory.
Spanish is valuable.
