JiBe is a cloud based fully integrated ERP system for the shipping industry. Our goal is to allow shipping companies to improve productivity, efficiency and safety levels, while reducing costs. JiBe ERP enables increased automation and streamlining of processes, creating pre-defined workflows and reducing the usage of email and paper.
Responsibilities
* Establishing and championing JiBe’s enterprise AI strategy, governance model, and priority use cases in the application of AI across all departments. Lead the Automation and AI transformation team of cross-functional engineers focused on Automation and AI at JiBe.
* Develop and execute an enterprise internal Automation and AI strategy aligned with JiBe’s business objectives.
* Oversee the establishment and execution of operational frameworks for automation and AI initiatives across functions, ensuring seamless integration across business units.
* Research, expand knowledge and apply Generative AI to drive innovative solutions and optimize processes.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to champion automation and AI initiatives, ensuring they are well-integrated with JiBe’s strategic vision.
* Implement systems to monitor the success of automation and AI initiatives, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
* Partner with HR to enhance AI understanding across the organization through targeted training and change management programs.
Qualifications
* A person who encompasses technical skills alongside business and customer understanding, an open mind and creativity alongside the ability to conduct research and development.
* A minimum of 7 years of software development experience as a software engineer and an engineering manager.
* A minimum of 4 years developing with Node.js, C#, or Java.
* Managed teams for at least 3 consecutive years with a minimum of 5 team members.
* Substantial experience and ability for prioritizing, planning and driving initiatives.
* Broad understanding of emerging technologies in AI/ML.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong leadership skills with proven ability to influence across teams.
* Strong teamwork skills and ability to communicate, persuade and thrive in a cross-functional environment.
* Proactive, independent, mature, self-driven and works well with minimal supervision as part of a diverse team.
* Proficiency in verbal and written English communication.
