The Risk Manager within the Account Health Support (AHS) Team acts as the primary interface between Amazon and our business partners. This role involves providing world-class support to Sellers on the Amazon platform, predicting their needs, creating self-help tools, and offering solutions to enhance seller success.
The AHS Risk Manager relies on excellent judgment to plan and achieve goals, working under limited supervision of the Risk Operations Manager. They authenticate complex transactions and accounts, communicate effectively, and advocate on behalf of Sellers. Responsibilities include engaging with Sellers, risk partners, and internal teams via written and verbal communication, applying risk management best practices, and specializing in multiple policy areas.
The role requires managing high-volume inbound and outbound communications, redirecting difficult conversations, and leading by example to motivate high standards. Candidates may have experience in investigations or escalations and must succeed in a fast-paced, minimal supervision environment with high accuracy.
Key responsibilities include understanding AHS programs, building relationships with Selling Partners, providing education and support, liaising with departments, identifying success barriers, documenting operational procedures, and contributing to process improvements. The role demands strong investigative skills, flexibility, integrity, strategic and tactical thinking, excellent communication, cross-department collaboration, and proficiency in English and German.
