You will be part of the Spanish Finance Human Pharma Business Unit team based in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Barcelona. As an Operations Controller in One MP (Manufacturing Pharma) and in close collaboration with other controllers, you will play a major role in building on our foundation: Finance&Controlling; strategic business partnering with value added services, involved in decision making (advice and challenge) and delivered with effective financial processes and adequate quality.
As a team member, you will aid in driving initiatives and financial advice contributing to the achievement of the targets of the One MP business.
**Tasks and responsibilities**:
- Provide financial & economic advice collaborating in One MP business projects to drive results and challenge sustainable growth and profitability of One MP in Spain (copilot).
- Manage Controlling services (financial business partnering adequate support, planning and reporting). Enable the local business in implementing their strategy from a financial perspective. Structured and Successful planning and reporting process, planning accuracy. Prepare adequate management reports.
- Financial analysis: deviation analysis vs plan; profitability analysis and proposal of strategic alternatives and bring innovation in close cooperation with the business partners based on a sound knowledge of the business dynamics.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects when necessary
- Ensure adequate risk analysis with scenarios to support the business decision making process (i.e. watch list)
- Implementation of global financial concepts and policies locally.
- Accountability to ensure reliable financial information to local business and headquarters based on company policies, legal and tax environment.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration or Engineering degree. A plus is a sound management accounting knowledge in operations background.
- At least 2 years of experience in Controlling and/or financial auditing, preferred in an international and intercultural environment
- Experience in production sites with costing knowledge is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with project management
- Experience working in an international and intercultural environment
- User knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- Advanced level of spoken and written English.
- Communication and change management skills. Excellent analytical thinking. Team work to contributes to the development of a stimulating, motivating, challenging work environment with the emphasis on innovation and continuous improvement.
