Mars Petcare is seeking an experienced and highly organized Deployment Manager to join the new Digital Transformation team in Mars Pet Care division and lead cross-product solution orchestration within our suite of Marketing Technology (MarTech) products. This pivotal role focuses on ensuring the seamless coordination, execution, and delivery of product releases, integrating tools such as SSO, consent and identity management, CDP, CRM, DAM, and others on our product roadmap into a cohesive solution.
As part of the Mars Petcare GDP team, you will contribute to our mission of delivering innovative, technology-driven solutions that improve the lives of pets and their families globally. The ideal candidate will possess strategic oversight, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of MarTech ecosystems to manage complex interdependencies effectively. Expertise with JIRA for managing workflows and tracking progress is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Release Management for MarTech Solutions:
1. Manage the end-to-end release lifecycle for cross-product MarTech initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality deliveries.
2. Develop and maintain a centralized release calendar for MarTech products, aligning with business objectives and marketing goals.
3. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to define release scope, objectives, and KPIs.
4. Lead the integration and orchestration of MarTech products, including:
1. SSO (Single Sign-On)
2. Consent and Identity Management Tools
3. CDP (Customer Data Platform)
4. CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
5. DAM (Digital Asset Management)
6. Other MarTech tools added to the roadmap as the ecosystem evolves.
5. Act as a strategic leader to identify synergies and optimize workflows across the MarTech stack.
6. Ensure compatibility, synchronization, and scalability between tools to deliver unified cross-product solutions.
Key Qualifications:
Experience:
1. Experience in release management, product management, or related roles in a cross-functional environment.
2. Proven track record of managing releases across complex MarTech ecosystems, including tools such as SSO, consent and ID management, CDP, CRM, and DAM systems.
Skills and Knowledge:
1. Strong understanding of marketing technology stacks and their role in enabling business outcomes.
2. Expertise in managing dependencies, risks, and conflicts in multi-team MarTech environments.
3. Proficiency with JIRA is a must, including workflow management and reporting.
4. Full Professional Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
5. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Technical Acumen:
1. Familiarity with release management tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git) and project management software (e.g., Trello, Asana).
2. Familiarity with MarTech-specific tools and platforms, as well as integration best practices.
3. Ability to understand technical concepts and effectively communicate with engineering and marketing teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Systems.
2. MS in Technology Management or Engineering Management.
3. Experience in global or enterprise-scale organizations with a focus on MarTech solutions.
4. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines as applied to marketing technologies.
5. Certification in Agile, Scrum, or ITIL is a plus.
6. PMP (Project Management Professional).
