The overall task and responsibility of the role is to oversee supplier connectivity (both 3rd parties and Channel Managers) for Sembo Group. This includes ensuring commercial and technical optimization, maintenance, and revenue growth of existing partnerships, as well as establishing new integrations and partnerships with suppliers (both 3rd parties & Channel Managers) from high-level concept design to operational delivery. Maximise dynamic contracts & connectivity performance to ensure department targets are achieved and to build and maintain key relationships internally and externally.
We can offer you a workplace where you can be based anywhere in the World, but preferably this role is preferably based in Palma/Mallorca. You will be part of the Contracting & Connectivity team.
Who we're looking for:
Commercial awareness in the travel industryDemonstrated success in delivering technical supply to grow existing and new businessTechnical understanding of API principles and connectivity (XML)Excellent problem solving, relationship building skills and interpersonal communication-skills.Highly detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication.Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic and complex environment.Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills and the ability to tailor your message to your audience.
What you'll be doing:
Work with the Supply Connectivity Manager, IT teams, Contracting Managers and suppliers to identify opportunities to increase and optimize products via XML API.Identify areas for improvement, goals & tactics to generate business from new and existing accountsDaily contact (account management) with suppliers dealing with commercial and technical issues to improve mutual business.Evaluation of supplier portfolios of mapped products and together with the relevant teams, deliver enhanced and targeted growth of product delivery.Compile reports on delivery and growth of supplier products.Coordinate technical Purchasing activities with other work units or departments.
