Threats to critical infrastructure, payment systems and mainstream media for instance illustrate the asymmetric nature of many conflicts, requiring better security and protection in cyber-space. Digitalization will be a backbone of new technologies and services in the space and defence industry, ensuring seamless flow of information, fast reaction times and flexibility. In order to perform our digital transformation, and to modernize our digital environment, we implemented a holistic journey management of our digital transformation programs and bundled those within one department. As one of the divisional lighthouse programs that have been introduced to implement a comprehensive plan for modernisation and improvement, the ERP Program drives the transformation of the ERP landscape.
YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Project Manager to join our innovative team and play a pivotal role in our ERP transformation journey. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering successful projects that drive the modernization of our SAP system landscape across multiple countries. This is an exciting opportunity to lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with stakeholders and make a significant impact on our organization's digital transformation. You'll join the ERP Program team in Spain, with the mission to develop and deploy the ERP solutions based on SAP HANA and drive the convergence & simplification of the ERP landscape throughout the division, in the Natcos, in the affiliates, and in all sites and countries, supporting the standardization and improvement of the associated business processes.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Project Planning and Execution:
* Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation for ERP transformation projects.
* Define project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Lead and inspire project teams to achieve outstanding results in modernizing our SAP system landscape.
2. Stakeholder Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, senior management and cross-functional teams across countries.
* Effectively communicate project status, risks and issues to stakeholders through regular updates, meetings, and presentations.
* Understand and manage stakeholder expectations to ensure alignment and support for project objectives.
* Identify and engage with new stakeholders as needed to expand project influence and success.
3. Risk Management and Issue Anticipation:
* Proactively identify and assess potential risks and issues that could impact the ERP transformation journey.
* Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of identified risks.
* Monitor and track risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely intervention when necessary.
* Anticipate issues before they arise by analysing project data, trends, and historical information.
* Create contingency plans to address potential issues and ensure project continuity.
4. Budget and Resource Management:
* Manage project budgets effectively, ensuring cost-efficient solutions for the ERP transformation.
* Allocate resources strategically to maximize productivity and efficiency across countries.
5. Quality Assurance:
* Ensure project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and client expectations.
* Conduct regular reviews and audits to maintain project integrity.
6. Team Leadership and Development, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
7. Reporting and Documentation:
* Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
* Utilize project management tools to track progress and manage tasks effectively.
SKILLS
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus
* Experience: 5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably in ERP implementations, SAP transformations or similar large-scale IT projects
* Experience working in international and multicultural teams
* Exceptional leadership and team management
* Strong interpersonal abilities and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrate proficiency in tailoring communication to suit diverse audiences, ensuring the appropriate level of detail and context is provided to facilitate understanding and decision-making
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
* Experience managing customer expectations and requirements
* Proven experience in risk management, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation
* Global mindset to maintain a comprehensive overview of the entire project portfolio and understand the interdependencies between various initiatives
* Ability to anticipate issues and develop proactive solutions to ensure project success
* Functional and technical experience with SAP systems and understanding of the challenges and opportunities in modernizing SAP landscapes

* High level of English (business fluent, speaking, reading, writing) is a must. In addition, German, Spanish or French is a plus.
The position will require a security clearance or being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
