Experteer Overview In this role you will lead highway design efforts within AECOM’s Linear Infrastructures team in Madrid, guiding projects from feasibility to detail design. You will collaborate across EC offices and with international clients to deliver high-quality roadways and railways, applying value engineering and design standards. You help shape complex transportation solutions and mentor junior staff while ensuring delivery within budget. - Act as Highway lead engineer on mid- to large-size projects supported by EC
- Coordinate and allocate resources from multiple EC offices to project teams
- Provide technical input for studies and designs, including value engineering and alternative construction approaches
- Define design packages, execution plans, and delivery strategies with internal clients
- Perform quality control reviews and approve final work
- Manage team performance and ensure delivery against budgets
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to manage expectations
- Lead design teams across offices and mentor junior staffResponsabilidades
- Proven highway design experience (+10 years)
- Team management experience (+3 years)
- Experience with international regulations and standards
- Proficiency in OPENROADS, CIVIL 3D, 12D
- Commitment to Quality Control Policy and QMS
- English fluency (oral and written)
- Experience in North America or Australia regions considered favorable
