Overview
A vacancy for a Flight Test Ground Station Frameworks and On‐Premise Cloud Architect has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe (Madrid, Spain). The successful applicant will join the Flight Test Ground Station Department.
Responsibilities
Flight Test Ground Station is the department responsible for Ground HW and Ground and Onboard SW means required for performing flight test activity. Additionally it is responsible for IT systems and general software in the Test Center Organization. One of the key activities to perform is develop software applications for Flight Test Ground Station and Test Frameworks. Additionally some industrialization of tools are requested from the Test Center.
Key responsibilities include:
Design and implement frameworks and on‐premise cloud solutions for clients.
Work with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements.
Develop and maintain documentation for frameworks and on‐premise cloud solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with frameworks and on‐premise cloud solutions.
Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to ensure that frameworks and on‐premise cloud solutions are integrated seamlessly into clients' environments.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience in cloud computing, including experience as a cloud architect or similar role.
Strong understanding of cloud architectures and design patterns.
Proficiency with private cloud platform solutions based on Kubernetes.
Experience with the following tools or similar: ArgoCD, Harbor, Nexus, Gitea, Haproxy, Prometheus, Keycloak, Velero, Iceberg.
Experience with the following storage solutions: Rook, Minio or other object storage.
Experience with the following databases deployed in Kubernetes with operators: PSQL (cloudnative-pg), Opensearch, Clickhouse.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
