We are looking for a self sufficient, experienced, and hands on Technical Artist with strong Python skills. Your role will involve:
1. Building and improving geometry processing and rigging solutions for our 3D character customization system.
2. Supporting our developer focused platform by managing 3D related engineering tasks, ensuring seamless integration of our avatar system into other products, and resolving issues.
3. Optimizing and adjusting 3D models for real time applications using Blender, Python, and other tools.
4. Collaborating on the creation of high quality, flexible 3D models.
5. Ensuring assets meet performance requirements across various game engines and hardware setups.
6. Documenting and maintaining a clear pipeline for 3D asset handling.
Minimum qualifications include:
1. 3+ years of experience in Game Development, focusing on 3D engineering or integration.
2. 3+ years of programming experience with Python, C#, or similar languages for 3D applications.
3. 2+ years of hands on experience with Blender and relevant 3D engineering practices.
4. Strong programming knowledge applicable to 3D workflows, proficiency in Python and familiarity with C# in Unity or similar platforms.
5. Deep understanding of 3D asset engineering, including mesh processing, rigging, and material & texture adjustments.
6. Ability to address technical 3D challenges systematically and develop robust solutions.
7. Excellent communication skills to explain complex issues to both technical and non technical teams.
8. Experience programming with TypeScript and familiarity with WebGL,
