We are looking for a Firmware Developer with 3–4 years of experience to join their R&D team in a fast-growing startup environment. In this role, you will design and implement cutting-edge firmware for embedded systems and optical transceivers, contributing directly to the growth and success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
* Participate in feasibility studies and draft initial firmware architecture.
* Collaborate with hardware and system engineers using Scrum methodology.
* Design and implement firmware for optical transceivers, including peripheral drivers and communication interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART).
* Implement host interfaces based on CMIS/MIS standards.
* Develop firmware ahead of hardware availability using emulators or evaluation boards.
* Conduct bring-up and debugging on prototypes using lab instruments (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol sniffers).
* Execute firmware validation and DVT to ensure functional requirements.
* Support integration and system-level testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Requirements:
* Degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or similar.
* 3–4 years of experience in embedded firmware development (ARM microcontrollers, RTOS).
* Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
* Knowledge of I2C, SPI, UART, MDIO, and debugging tools (J-Link, JTAG/SWD).
* Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins, and unit testing frameworks.
* Experience with schematic review and hardware verification.
* Agile development experience (Scrum).
* Full professional proficiency in English.
* Any experience in optical equipment or pluggable optics is an advantage.
