What we are looking for
Senior Software Engineer with at least 5 years of experience.
Availability to join a stable project in Madrid.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
Hybrid telework arrangement; full‐time position.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related fields.
Solid knowledge in object‐oriented programming.
At least 5 years of experience programming with C++.
Good level of English, both written and spoken.
Experience in the aerospace sector.
Desirable Experience or Knowledge
Simulation projects applied to the Defense and/or Aeronautical sector.
Development of user interfaces with Qt/QML, WPF, or similar technologies.
Principles and best practices in UI/UX design.
Programming with C# and .NET.
Development of geographic information systems (GIS) using ArcGIS, Carmenta Engine, or similar platforms.
Development of real‐time and distributed systems, preferably using DDS.
Video game engines and/or 3D graphics.
UML modeling tools such as Enterprise Architect.
Version control tools like Git, CI/CD with Jenkins or similar.
Responsibilities
Participate in the development of new software functionalities requested by the client, within the framework of adaptive and evolutionary maintenance programs of our systems.
Redesign and modernize existing user interfaces, improving user experience and optimizing usability.
Perform software testing to ensure the quality and proper functioning of the systems.
Provide technical support to engineers deployed at client facilities, including diagnosing and resolving software issues.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
