Market Development Engineer - IP&E Technologies
As a Market Development Engineer specializing in IP&E technologies, you will determine, develop, scale, and lead the implementation of successful, comprehensive solution programs that accelerate market, sales, and profit growth within the associated markets or business segments.
What will you be doing?
* Specialize in key market segments and technologies of the business, as assigned within the dedicated Vertical.
* Own the go-to-market strategy plan for the assigned market/business segment.
* Conduct business strategy activities including total available market analysis, market share, segmentation, competitive analysis, emerging trends, SWOT, and product positioning.
* Collaborate with Business Units on product road mapping, new product development, and product management activities to support the assigned market.
* Work with suppliers, product management, and other resources to clarify product and service needs, requirements, and priorities.
* Create, gain approvals for, and execute comprehensive product and service offers.
* Contribute to communication programs and materials for business development.
* Evaluate, recommend, and manage supplier and channel programs within the assigned market.
* Develop marketing campaigns, tools, and training programs to increase market share and visibility.
* Lead Voice of Customer activities to capture product reception and validate marketing opportunities.
* Build and manage relationships with key suppliers.
* Make joint calls with Arrow and supplier sales personnel strategically and tactically.
* Participate in supplier web training for new products, releases, and promotions, and identify market/customer penetration strategies.
What are we looking for?
* Experience in the electronics industry or manufacturing in sales, engineering, marketing, or product management.
* Experience in IP&E technologies.
* Experience in engineering and business strategy including market & customer segmentation, competitive benchmarking, and financial analysis.
* Strong sales skills.
* Full driving license and readiness for business travel.
* Fluent in English (written and spoken).
* Spanish language skills (native or C1 level).
* Ability to engage with executive-level stakeholders.
* Proven track record in market/segment management or solution development in B2B industries.
* Understanding of performance measurement tools and technology.
* Leadership, collaboration, and team skills.
