Our amazing support team is looking for a support engineer for what is probably one of the most exciting support jobs in the industry! You enjoy finding solutions and supporting translation companies with their daily system usage? Being part of our technical support team, you will be our client’s first contact and the person solving critical issues and guiding our users to more optimal system usage. With a customer-oriented approach and an independent working style, we are looking for a motivated support engineer with the following qualifications.
Responsibilities
* 1st & 2nd level support via our ticket system
* Analysis of system errors and remote troubleshooting
* Installation, configuration, and maintenance of customer systems
* Maintenance of our IT infrastructure and onsite support for our internal teams
* Close collaboration with our development, QA, implementation, and product management teams
Qualifications
* Experience as an IT specialist for system integration or a related degree or qualification
* In-depth knowledge in the hardware/software field, especially Microsoft operating systems (Windows Server, Exchange Server as well as Office, Active Directory, virtualization)
* Knowledge of databases (MySQL, MS-SQL) and web servers (Apache, Tomcat, IIS)
* Knowledge of Linux as well as scripting (PowerShell) is a plus
* Good English skills required, German or other language skills are a plus
* A willingness to potentially travel abroad from time to time - mainly for training purposes - is required
* Availability to work from Monday to Friday, full time
