RESPONSIBILITIES

The Center for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG) is looking for a Postdoc Researcher to be part of the group Epigenetics and plant development.
We are looking for a highly talented and creative new team member with a strong interest in epigenetics and plant development. The postdoctoral scientist is expected to conduct innovative research to investigate Arabidopsis thaliana responses to cold temperatures.
The candidate will be in charge of generation of (1) IP-MS proteomic data, (2) confocal bio-imaging, and (3) integrative data analyses.
The tasks are included within the framework of the project EPICHILL (CNS2023-145632) “Unravelling the epigenome dynamics underlying plant responses to cold temperatures”.
REQUIREMENTS:
Educational requirements: PhD in Plant Biology or related field.
Skills:
- A strong background in protein interaction analyses
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Demonstrable scientific success in previous roles
Experience:
- Prior experience in protein-protein interaction assays and confocal imaging - essential
- Handling of Arabidopsis plants - essential
- Experience in proteomic data analysis – desirable
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Contract Duration: 6 months
Hours/week: 37.5 hours
