Your Role at Weekendesk

• Design real product features from brief to handoff — your work will ship to actual users.
• Work within our design system in Figma, applying and evolving components across web and app.
• Collaborate daily with Product Managers and developers to translate user needs into clear, well-crafted interfaces.
• Participate in user research activities and bring insights into your design decisions.
• Grow fast with direct mentorship from an experienced Product Designer who has time for you.

Does This Sound Like You?

• Currently enrolled in a degree or master's program that allows a formal internship agreement (convenio de prácticas).
• You have an updated portfolio — we want to see how you think. A real project (side project, freelance for a friend, school project) counts a lot.
• Basic knowledge of Figma — auto layouts, components, and basic prototyping. You'll go deep on this here.
• Prior design training (FP, UX/UI bootcamp, or design course) is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Excellent attitude, genuine curiosity, and serious eagerness to learn and grow.
• Languages: Spanish and/or English (working level).

Full time from Monday to Friday, 9h to 18h + 1 hour lunch.

500€/net per month.

Recruitment Process

• CV and Portfolio Triage: The Product Design Lead will examine all candidates personally and send a message with the output of the triage.
• Initial Hello via WhatsApp: Expect a warm, friendly message from our HR team to set up a time to chat.
• Interview: Dive deep with a member of our hiring team to explore your skills, experience, and how you'll fit into our company.
• Portfolio Review: Walk us through a project — we want to hear your thinking, not just see the screens.
• Next Steps: Depending on the process, a brief design exercise may be added.
• Onboarding: Once you accept, we'll ensure you're set up for success from day one, with a full onboarding experience and all the tools you need to thrive.
