For our location MUES02 we are looking for you as Team Leader Software:
* To lead the PLC software team that develops the software for the different packaging machine technologies of the company. The position is focused on developing the team, organizing the roles and assisting them to deliver the software with the quality, architecture and tools to achieve the high standards of the company.
* To develop a technology base network to bring the best practices from the group into the company and manage the communication with the headquarter specialists.
* On one hand, the big target of this position is to work on developing innovative solutions for the packaging machines and to define the strategy of the software technology in the company.
* On the other hand, it will have a part of responsibility in creating the needed team to ensure that, the customer projects and troubleshooting of the open customer issues, are delivered with the time and quality as planned.
Detailed objectives:
* Bringing technical knowledge to solve the challenges of the team, helping them to deliver the best quality.
* Assist the team in the planification, execution and correction of the project plans.
* Implementing the right mentality and relevance of the machine testing tasks, special focus on collecting and analyzing of the machine data.
* Support on the analysis of problems reported by customers and machine testing.
* Implement best practices of the PLC programming in structured text and object oriented.
* Reporting for the management team on weekly base and attendance to the periodical technical management meetings.
* Influence on the future definition of the company defining the software scope and architecture for the R+D projects.
Who we’re looking for:
* University studies in automation engineering.
* Higher degree of technical knowledge in software development for PLC (preferred) or similar.
* Good communication in English and Spanish. German is a plus.
* Experience in food industry with packaging and processing equipment.
* Experience in structured text and object-oriented programming.
* Knowledge of the standard tools for software development in PLC and on version control management.
* Knowledge in MS Office with comfort using various APPs/SAP/C4C.
* Leadership experience and proven results with technical teams in complex and multinational environments.
* Team focus, collaboration and communication skills.
* Open to international trips to the headquarters and to a few relevant installations (mostly R+D motivated).
