Infrastructure Specialist
Location: Brande, Denmark or Madrid, Spain

About the Role:
As an Infrastructure Specialist at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. We are seeking a talented individual with a strong foundation in Microsoft infrastructure technologies, particularly in Microsoft SQL, Active Directory (AD), and Group Policy Objects (GPO). Your expertise in these areas will be crucial in maintaining and optimizing our systems to support our mission of sustainable energy solutions.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and maintain Microsoft infrastructure components, including but not limited to Microsoft SQL, Active Directory, and Group Policy Objects.
2. Implement security best practices and perform system hardening to ensure the integrity of our infrastructure.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement IT solutions that support business objectives.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and disruptions.
5. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in our infrastructure.
Requirements:
1. Strong proficiency in Microsoft infrastructure technologies, particularly Microsoft SQL, Active Directory, and Group Policy Objects.
2. Knowledge of Linux distributions is a plus, but not required.
3. Familiarity with different hypervisors is beneficial.
4. General automation mindset with experience in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) is preferred.
5. Knowledge and interest in security standards such as IEC62443 is considered a plus.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
7. Strong commitment to security principles and practices.
8. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
9. Experience working within the Safe Agile framework is a plus.
