Following our growth and expansion strategy, we are looking to strengthen our Facility & Projects team by incorporating an Infrastructure Project Engineer.
Responsibilities
Planning management and coordination of tasks related to facility refurbishment and adaptation
Coordination and contracting of suppliers and service providers
Oversight of technical equipment: compressors, generators, scales, pumps, HVAC systems, hot water systems, electrical systems, fire protection systems, loading docks, etc.
Management of services: installers, roofing, masonry, painting, drywall, gardening, flooring, etc.
Review and application of relevant regulations: APQ (chemical storage), local licenses, minimum surface requirements, etc.
Facility management and support for infrastructure improvements
Approval of expense budgets
Feasibility studies for investments and budgets
Providing technical solutions to new proposals
Managing security and camera systems providers
Handling environmental activity licenses
Inspection and monitoring of fire protection systems, odor control systems, and other facility infrastructure
Providing support to subsidiaries (tanks, installations, warehouse capacity, etc.)
Profile
Degree in Industrial, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering, or similar
5 years of experience in construction and facility installations
Valuable: Additional training in Project Management (PMP), Facility Management, or Occupational Risk Prevention
Prior experience in infrastructure and facility adaptation projects (industrial buildings, logistics centers, etc.)
Experience coordinating and managing technical suppliers (installation, maintenance, industrial services)
Practical knowledge of technical systems: HVAC, electricity, fire protection, pumps, weighing systems, etc.
Used to working with public administrations for permits and licenses
Strong knowledge of applicable regulations: APQ, fire safety, urban and environmental norms
Ability to read and follow technical drawings and blueprints
Knowledge of preventive/corrective maintenance, inspections, and infrastructure upgrades
Experience managing budgets and investments using tools such as advanced Excel, ERP systems, or project management tools
Familiarity with security systems and CCTV
