The Fraud Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive fraud prevention strategies, monitoring transactions and patterns, and leading a team of fraud prevention specialists. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fraud detection, risk assessment, and team management.
Responsibilities
Fraud Prevention Strategy:
Develop, implement, and continuously enhance fraud prevention strategies and protocols to safeguard the organization against fraudulent activities.
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging fraud schemes, and best practices to ensure the effectiveness of fraud prevention measures.
Transaction Monitoring:
Implement advanced monitoring systems to analyze transaction data and identify potential fraudulent patterns, anomalies, or unusual behavior.
Investigate suspicious activities and work closely with the team to mitigate risks and take appropriate actions.
Fraud Investigations:
Lead or participate in investigations related to suspected fraudulent activities, working closely with internal and external stakeholders, law enforcement, and regulatory authorities as needed.
Data Analytics and Reporting:
Utilize data analytics tools to generate insights and reports on fraud trends, case status, and key performance indicators.
Present findings to senior management and make recommendations for process improvements.
Policy and Process Development:
Develop and maintain fraud prevention policies, procedures, and documentation, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.
Continuously monitor, adjust, and improve all operational aspects related with the fraud prevention process.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Criminal Justice, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Fraud Examiner) are a plus.
Proven experience of 5-7 years in fraud prevention, risk management, or related roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
Strong knowledge of fraud detection techniques, anti-fraud technologies, and relevant regulations.
Familiarity with data analytics tools and techniques to uncover fraudulent patterns.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
