Responsibilities
* Champion Quality Investigations: dive deep into daily quality incidents, lead complaint investigations and reporting, uncover root causes, and drive corrective and preventive actions that protect our consumers and elevate our standards.
* Strengthen Process Excellence: lead process validation activities, ensure corrective actions are robust and sustainable, and make sure every change strengthens product quality, production efficiency, and waste reduction.
* Raise the Bar on Manufacturing Controls: review and refine manufacturing quality controls, helping production teams maintain stable, reliable and high‑precision operations.
* Advance Food Safety & Risk Prevention: support HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP activities, partnering with cross‑functional teams to maintain strong risk management systems and secure the site’s food defense readiness.
* Drive Data‑Led Improvement: use manufacturing and quality data to identify patterns, anticipate risks, and propose targeted improvements for process and quality enhancements.
* Support Industrial Innovation: play an active role in industrial trials, ensuring trials are safe, compliant, and ready to scale into full production when successful.
* Strengthen Crisis Readiness: support crisis and incident management activities, helping the site respond effectively and safeguard product integrity.
* Reinforce Audit Excellence: contribute to internal and external audits, ensuring systems, documentation, and practices meet the highest regulatory and certification standards.
* Champion Cross‑Functional Collaboration: act as a liaison between Quality and Manufacturing, facilitating clear communication, alignment on priorities, and seamless teamwork across departments.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields with 6+ years of experience in Quality within Food, Pharmaceutical or Ingredients environments.
* Strong command of GFSI standards (especially IFS) and experience managing non‑conformities, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
* Hands‑on experience with HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP methodologies and exposure to internal/external auditing and crisis/incident management.
* Strong problem‑solving, interpersonal, and organisational skills; skilled in MS Office, fluent in Spanish (C2) and comfortable in English (B2).
* Experience with thermal processes such as pasteurisation and sterilisation is a strong plus, while knowledge of FDA regulations and certifications—including Halal, Kosher, Bio and Eco—is considered an asset. Additionally, having completed Better Process Control School (BPCS) training is highly valued.
