Mission
Ensure adherence to environmental management procedures across all sectors of EDPR Deutschland. Manage environmental aspects of wind farm projects during development, construction, and operation in Germany, and support environmental measures for solar projects under construction.
Main Responsibilities
* Conduct environmental feasibility studies.
* Assist the development team in preparing environmental authorizations.
* Support contracting and management of contractors conducting Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA).
During construction and operational phases :
* Support the implementation of environmental measures (reduction and compensatory) and monitor their follow-up during operation.
* Review environmental documentation from construction and operational contractors.
* Audit project sites and contractors for compliance with permits and environmental obligations; address non-compliance issues during construction and operation.
* Initiate, monitor, and analyze ecological studies during the operational phase.
Candidate Profile
* Academic qualification : Graduate or Master’s Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or Ecology.
* Professional experience : 2-5 years in wind or solar project development.
* Knowledge : Understanding of national and European environmental legislation and EIAs; environmental issues related to wind and solar projects.
* Languages : Fluent in German and English.
* Skills : German driving license, stakeholder management, ability to work independently and in teams, excellent German report writing skills, organized, collaborative, and communicative.
