As an Analyst
in GeoAn
alytics
, y
ou will be solving
a variety
of
location
-
based analytical problems for our clients. You will
utilize
your knowledge of geospatial data
and
analytics while using tools such as G
eographic Information Systems (G
IS
)
, Python

and visualization
/analytical platforms (ex.
Tableau, Alteryx). You will
leverage
a range of techniques such as geospatial clustering,
network analysis,
location-
based
optimization
and predictive a
nalytics/
modeling
.
You will be expected to distill insights from your analysis and link them to business objectives

You will contribute to IP development, content development, and support internal marketing
.
You will also have opportunities to experiment with emerging capabilities, including the selective use of GenAI to enhance analysis workflows and accelerate insight generation.
What You'll Bring
Education & Experience
Qualifications
:
1-3 years of relevant work experience in GeoAnalytics with advanced degree preferred
Relevant degree in geospatial related field such as: Geography,
Geology, Environmental Science,
Remote Sensing, Urban Planning, Statistics/
GeoStatistics
, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science
Previous
experience working in a global organization or professional services firm is preferred
Demonstrated experience in the following:
Conducting web-based research for open data sources; handling, understanding, and assessing new datasets; and stitching together disparate datasets to conduct custom analyses
Applying geospatial data, tools, and technology to solve problems for businesses across multiple topics
Technical experience in the following:
GIS software such as ESRI ArcGIS or QGIS
Data management skills (
e.g.
data modeling,
QA/QC, querying, analysis)
Data science programming/coding in Python and/or R including use of spatial libraries/packages (
eg
GeoPandas
,
Rasterio
, GDAL/OGR,
T
erra..
)
B
usiness Intelligence
/
d
ata visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
Applied descriptive statistics and analytical methods (e.g., correlation, regression, clustering) within machine learning frameworks to address geospatial problems
