Who You’ll become
A Solution Advisor works closely with customers to identify and solve business challenges using SAP solutions. As part of the sales team, a Solution Advisor is a subject matter expert responsible for functional and technical knowledge during the sales cycle. They support deals through discovery sessions, executive meetings, presentations, and software demonstrations to showcase SAP’s value. They also participate in marketing events, lead Design Thinking sessions, and collaborate to identify opportunities within existing accounts.
What You’ll Do
As a Solution Advisor in the SAP Academy, your responsibilities include :
* Completing a 10-month program that prepares you for a customer-facing career at SAP.
* Engaging in experiential learning with global colleagues, acquiring skills across business, industry, and SAP solutions, including emerging technologies.
* Receiving mentorship and gaining real-world experience by working directly with customers to support their digital transformation.
The program enhances your SAP knowledge and provides professional experience. From day one, you will have full-time employment with practical learning. Post-program, you will lead discovery sessions, create and deliver impactful software demonstrations, support demand generation, and assist in deal execution.
Solution areas include :
* SAP Finance & Spend Management (F&S) : Focus on accounting, procurement, and supplier management to improve visibility, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
* SAP SuccessFactors (HCM) : Covering core HR, payroll, talent management, employee experience, HR analytics, and workforce planning.
* SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) : Knowledge in supply chain, asset management, manufacturing, logistics, or product lifecycle management.
* SAP Customer Experience (CX) : Expertise in e-commerce, sales, customer service, and marketing processes.
* SAP Business Transformation Management (BTM) : Business process management and automation applications.
* SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) & SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) : Data management, analytics, app development, integration, and AI, with understanding of related technology domains.
What You Bring
* At least 3 years of professional experience with a solid foundation in technical and business processes, relevant technologies, and customer engagement skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills, technical / business process knowledge, and experience supporting solution delivery.
* Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively internally and externally.
* Quick learner, adaptable, and results-oriented.
* Understanding of AI fundamentals, uses, and ethics to identify business opportunities.
* Resilient mindset, optimistic, and growth-focused.
* Strong business acumen and industry knowledge.
* Proficiency in English and Spanish for effective communication in our global network.
About SAP Academy for Customer Success
This three-year program fosters accountability, productivity, and leadership. It prepares graduates for impactful customer roles, promotes career growth, and builds a global network through real-world challenges and hands-on experience with cloud solutions, all while earning competitive pay and benefits.
SAP offers flexible work arrangements, including a hybrid model with three days in the office or on-site, and plans for a four-week in-person experience in San Ramon, California, spread across two trips. The final decision on this component will be confirmed early 2026.
During critical phases, full engagement is required, and vacations may be restricted.
