An international consumer goods company undergoing global transformation is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to support and evolve its Forecast to Plan processes across SAP IBP and ECC.
We are seeking someone who understands the business first, someone who has been part of complex supply chain planning environments (Demand, Production, Maintenance) and can work closely with both business and IT to deliver smart, sustainable solutions.
This is not a development role, it’s a hybrid between business process ownership, functional analysis, and system enhancement. You will bridge the gap between global operations and technology.
Responsibilities:
Act as a functional expert and liaison between global business users and IT for all topics related to Forecast to Plan.
Analyze and translate business requirements into functional specs and system designs (SAP IBP, ECC PP/MM).
Support and enhance demand planning, supply planning, production planning, and plant maintenance processes.
Own the testing lifecycle (functional testing, UAT), process documentation, and training materials.
Engage with integration platforms (SAP CPI-DS, SAP PO) to ensure data flow between systems.
Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements aligned with operational strategy.
Work closely with colleagues in the US and EMEA — balancing stakeholder priorities and aligning timelines.
What we are looking for:
3–5+ years of experience working with SAP ECC (especially PP, MM) and SAP IBP (Demand Planning) .
Experience with system integrations (SAP CPI-DS, SAP PO) and end-to-end planning process flows.
Strong understanding of Forecast to Plan : demand planning, production planning, and ideally plant maintenance .
Hands-on experience creating functional documentation, test plans, and training materials .
Ability to challenge assumptions, clarify real needs, and propose system-based solutions.
Fluent English ; able to communicate clearly with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote-first environment .
Experience working in a global team and collaborating across time zones is a strong plus.
Why this role?
Join a team where your input matters — you’ll be a key player in shaping global planning solutions .
Work with a dynamic, agile organization embracing change and digital transformation.
Gain exposure to strategic initiatives (AI in planning, new business models, SaaS integrations).
Enjoy remote flexibility, with occasional travel to Barcelona or the US (~2x/year).
