As the Compliance Manager, you’ll be a part of the Risk and Compliance team who oversees and manages Outpayce risk and compliance.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Risk and Compliance to lead the Compliance function by establishing relevant standards, policies and procedures in identifying, preventing, detecting and correcting non-compliance, whilst ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the control environment for Outpayce.
The role will play a key part in defining requirements in all angles of Compliance and across the whole payment ecosystem.
Along with the Head of Risk & Compliance, this role provides an exciting opportunity to shape the Outpayce Compliance framework and program.
The successful candidate will need to be resilient and have a tenacious desire to work smarter and stay abreast of new business and regulatory initiatives.
In this role you’ll;
1. Develop, implement and manage internal policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
2. Ensure the institution adheres to all applicable laws and regulations
3. Continuously monitor compliance with regulations and internal policies
4. Support the Head of Risk & Compliance with the function of advising senior management and other departments compliance matters to promote compliance culture
5. Act as a coach and mentor for team members
About the ideal candidate
6. You’ll have professional experience gained in a compliance or risk management role
7. In-depth knowledge of Financial Regulations: deep understanding of financial regulations applicable to EMIs, especially in areas like payment service provision, prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing, and personal data protection
8. Significant regulatory and/or compliance experience gained within a Spanish Financial Services environment (multinational group environment preferred); understanding of the payments sector
9. Proven track record as a Senior Compliance leader, championing a positive risk culture through the formulation of risk-mitigation and compliance processes and regulatory advisory for products and services
10. You’ll have a Solution-focused approach and the ability to make objective/ evidence-based decisions and influence recommendations and decisions using insights, breakdown complex information to suit target audience.
