The role will be part of a growing and talented Technology team and will report directly to the Manager of Platform, Services Solutions Team. /p pIn Verisure, we’re constantly developing new technology to better protect our customers. Our team is responsible for providing the Technical Platform that our developers use to build, deploy, release, and run their software. /p pThis is a critical role that will help the Technology organization evolve our current technology platform, fostering our developers’ autonomy and keeping scalability, security, quality, and reliability in mind. /p pAs the Platform Technical Lead, you will define the technical vision and roadmap of the platform and lead a team of Technical Leads working on different technical domains (CI/CD, IaC, DevEx, Software Quality, Middleware and Platform Capabilities). /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport Technical Leads and Solution Architects in how to evolve the platform from a technical perspective. /li liArchitect, design and implement the platform as a service (PaaS) evolution, taking into account legacy platforms, and delivering a better experience for our developers. /li liLead, support and guide technical leads of the technical platform, ensuring best practices and solutions are considered. /li liTrain and teach the best ways of building software and platforms, following DevOps principles and operating them with a Site‑Reliability‑Engineering (SRE) approach. /li /ul h3Location /h3 pWorking under a Hybrid Model, you’ll work from home and at our Madrid offices. /p h3Reports and organization structure /h3 pDirect reporting line to the Manager of Platform, Services Solutions Team. /p h3Candidate profile /h3 pWe see this role as critical for the achievement of Verisure’s growth and organizational transformation goals. The ideal candidate will be a strategic solution provider as well as an operational enabler. /p h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster/B.A. in Computer Engineering. /li liFluent level of English. /li li10 years of relevant IT experience. /li liExperience working with Platform as a Service solutions, Microservices, and Event‑ and Service‑Oriented architectures. /li liSolid understanding of design practices and system architecture, considering trade‑offs of reliability, scalability, security, operational costs, and adoption pathways. /li liKnowledge of development methodologies and best practices, version control tools, integration and continuous delivery, and an Infrastructure as Code approach. /li liAbility to take end‑to‑end ownership of shaping solutions, making proofs of concept, and defining the right architectural approach based on organizational needs. /li /ul h3Will be a plus /h3 ul liPublic/private cloud experience. /li liInfrastructure as a Service knowledge. /li liExperience in Agile frameworks. /li liStrong analytical skills, with a focus on making things happen. /li liTeam player, organized, methodical, and responsible. /li liGood communication skills to explain complex solutions to management, teammates, and team members, acting as a trusted technology adviser. /li liProactive with initiative. /li liSelf‑organized, focused on objectives. /li liAlignment with our culture – high energy and flexibility, excellent communication, and drive.
