As a Senior SEO Lead at Cheil, you will not only be responsible for defining and implementing advanced SEO strategies, but also for representing the discipline in front of key clients. You will act as the main point of contact for strategic discussions, transforming data into actionable insights and business opportunities. Your role will combine technical expertise with client leadership, ensuring alignment between SEO performance, brand growth and market expansion.

You will also be a technical expert in search engine optimization, with solid experience in implementing and managing advanced SEO strategies. This professional not only has deep knowledge in using specific tools and interpreting complex analytical data, but also has solid knowledge of HTML and other web markup languages. This allows them to understand and optimize the technical structure of the site more effectively to improve visibility and performance in search engines.


Key Responsibilities

* Lead the SEO relationship with key clients, acting as a strategic advisor and presenting insights, recommendations and performance updates at senior stakeholder level.
* Coordinate internal multidisciplinary teams (Media, Content, UX, Data) to build integrated strategies that connect SEO impact with business results.
* Identify and develop new opportunities within existing accounts and support the Business Development team in new client pitches by building data-based SEO proposals and growth plans.
* Perform extensive technical audits using tools such as Google Search Console and Screaming Frog to identify indexing issues, crawl errors, and URL structure issues. Resolve issues such as keyword cannibalization and inappropriate redirects by applying HTML knowledge to fix technical issues directly in the code.
* Develop and implement content strategies based on data obtained from tools such as SEMrush, analyzing long-tail keywords and understanding search intent to improve visibility and search engine ranking. Apply HTML knowledge to optimize content structure and improve readability for search engines.
* Use advanced tools such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics 4 to perform in-depth analysis of user behavior, identify traffic patterns, and evaluate overall site performance in terms of conversions and engagement.
* Optimize site structure and link architecture, using data from tools like SEO Clarity and Ahrefs to improve domain authority and content relevance. Apply HTML knowledge to optimize header ranking and internal link structure.
* Closely monitor the evolution of search engine algorithms and adjust SEO strategies using data from tools such as SEMrush and Google Search Console to maintain compliance and maximize site performance.
* Leverage AI-powered SEO tools (such as Search Generative Experience, AI Overviews, and machine learning-driven insights) to identify new content opportunities, predict ranking trends, and optimize metadata or internal linking at scale.
* Implement GEO-targeted SEO initiatives and structured data optimization to enhance visibility across different countries and languages, ensuring consistency between global and local strategies. Experience creating custom SEO prompts and chat GPTs.


Skills

* At least 5 years of experience working in SEO and leading with clients/stakeholders and cross-departmental projects.
* Strong presentation and storytelling skills to explain complex insights clearly and persuasively to non-technical audiences.
* Ability to build and nurture long-term client relationships based on trust, transparency, and strategic impact.
* Comfortable in new business settings, supporting proposals and client acquisition through SEO strategy and data storytelling.
* Solid experience resolving complex technical issues using tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and SEO Clarity, as well as advanced HTML knowledge to make direct code fixes.
* In-depth knowledge and experience in using advanced SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, and SEO Clarity to perform detailed data and trend analysis.
* Experience interpreting Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics 4 data to understand user behavior and optimize user experience on the website.
* Knowledge of AI-driven SEO methodologies (e.g., content generation, automated clustering, keyword prediction, and internal linking optimization through AI).
* Understanding of GEO SEO dynamics, local intent signals, and multi-language SEO best practices for international websites.
* Strong understanding of keyword optimization, search intent, and search trends to develop effective, user-oriented content strategies.
* Advanced data analysis skills and ability to interpret complex SEO metrics and web traffic analysis.
* Ability to effectively communicate complex technical problems and solutions to multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.


Languages

C1 level of English required, with advanced English writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively with international teams and external suppliers.
