Your mission
As a Product/Quality Assurance Engineer, you will ensure the highest quality, safety, and reliability of optomechanical instruments for critical scientific missions. You will implement and maintain ESA-aligned PA processes, manage risks, and foster a strong quality culture across multidisciplinary teams.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Developing and maintaining PA processes in line with ESA ECSS standards
* Identifying and mitigating risks to product quality and reliability
* Overseeing supplier and subcontractor quality compliance
* Managing non-conformance reports, driving corrective and preventive actions
* Preparing and maintaining quality documentation and reports
* Representing PA in project reviews (NRB, IRR, TRR, PTR)
* Leading internal audits and supporting ESA audits
What will set you up for success?
* Experience in product or quality assurance for space systems
* Familiarity with ESA ECSS requirements and quality standards
* Analytical mindset and attention to detail to guarantee mission-critical reliability
* Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills, with a proactive attitude
* Ability to communicate clearly in an international, multidisciplinary environment
* Fluency in English;
